The Kelowna Fire Museum and Education Centre invites you to be a part of a very special commemorative opportunity. You can become part of the history of the Kelowna Fire Museum and Education Centre.
The Kelowna Fire Museum and Education Centre is preparing to open its doors and we need your help. You are invited to participate in our Buy-A-Rung Fundraiser. We are planning to create unique murals including ladders as part of the main exhibit hall. You can purchase an inscribed “rung” of a ladder in the Museum. Your message will be remain a part of the Museum forever. This is a unique and exciting way in which you can contribute to the new Museum and Education Centre. The rungs are $100 each and purchases are tax deductible.
Once this form is complete you will be forwarded to a PayPal link for payment.

What can I write on my rung and how much will fit?
Write anything you would like that is family appropriate and fits in the allotted space. A rung can fit up to 3 lines of text with 20 characters per line. Letters, spaces, and punctuation count as characters. Consider using “&” instead of “and” to save space.
What is the price?
Each rung costs $100.00 and purchases are tax deductible.
Can I give a rung as a gift?
Yes! A rung incorporated into the Kelowna Fire Museum and Education Centre is a gift that lasts a lifetime. It is a gift that never goes out of style. When you give a rung as a gift, just fill out the appropriate spot on the form. We will send you a certificate to give to the person you bought the rung for.
How long will the rungs be available?
Rungs will be available on a first come, first reserved basis and will be available until all rungs have been sold.
When will the rungs be installed?
The rungs are being installed on an ongoing basis. Your virtual rung will be available for viewing on our website within 10 days of purchase.
Where will the rung be placed?
The rungs will be incorporated throughout the exhibit hall. They will be highly visible and unique. In addition, there is a virtual mural on our website and your run will be added to this mural for global exposure.
Where does the money go?
All the funds raised by the Buy A Rung Fundraiser go toward the construction and operation of the new Kelowna Fire Museum and Education Centre. Your donation is tax deductible.
What happens after I place my order?
Orders placed online will receive a transaction notification via email. Orders made at the Kelowna Fire Museum and Education Centre will receive a receipt. We will be operating a virtual mural as part of our website and your rung will be added to the virtual mural within 10 days of purchase.
